Bought 3 items from the dark emperador line, they are stunning. Very good quality, solid piece of marble, and looks amazing.
Absolutely stunning mirror. If it was for the design alone I would give 5*’s. It’s deceptively larger than it seems in the photos, and transforms the look of my bedroom making it a statement piece.
However, the mirror I received in comparison to the photos shown here is slightly different. I’m aware that wood has a texture to it, but when you look at the photos you think that you’re going to get a smooth warm wood, and with WWM you expect the highest quality. I’ve order many times from WWM before, and they are the best in the game no doubt.
I think they fell short here with this mirror. I’ve been in touch with the team and their replies are fast, they offered numerous amount of solutions, but I don’t think their compensation for the defects on the mirror I received reflects the price of the mirror.
The wood has a black/green finish to it in many areas, and they have advised that this is an industry-wide issue with MDF/Wood. But unfortunately from the showroom photos, it doesn’t seem like that’s something you will receive.
There are white/silver dots around the mirror. These don’t look like markings, but more like metal pieces scattered around.
There’s also some deep scratching at one side of the mirror, which doesn’t look intentional for the wood grain, but to me feels & looks like damage.
Lastly, the glass is giving a distorted feel on this mirror. I have owned mirrors from WWM before, and my past experiences are that they use the highest quality mirror that feels clear & true to reflection. Unfortunately on this occasion I received a mirror that feels like my previous £60 mirror from The Range, where it’s distorted unless you’re standing in the centre & up-close, as the sides & at distance make the reflection almost kinda wavy.
I’m still giving it 3 stars. I like the mirror, I like the design, but I think at £499 (RRP) £299 on sale (or £209 using a code), you’d expect something premium.

Firstly, the mirror itself is incredible - initially I was worried you’d lose too much of the mirror to the frame around it, but you get the best of both. We’re really impressed with the size and quality - it’s luxury and looks heavy without actually being too heavy.
Secondly, customer service is amazing - we were kept in the loop throughout the order confirmation to the delivery. Denis our delivery driver was with us promptly and communicated with us regarding this expected arrival.
Absolutely love this mirror. It’s such a unique, modern statement piece and completely transforms the room. The irregular shape and dark wood finish look even better in person and the quality is excellent. Couldn’t be happier with it - easily my favourite purchase and the standout piece in my house. The only problem is I should have bought two!!! A proper jaw-dropping piece
